Minnesota Vikings VS New York Jets Prediction - TMD

We re enter the Randy Moss era in Minnesota as Brett Favre has a new toy to play with (since all of his other toys seem to be broken down). The Vikings really need to win this game if they want to get back into the race for the NFC North (especially with the Bears being 4-1 now). Adrian Peterson has gone back to being the star of that team as he has been running wild and keeping the fumbles under control. We all know that Brett Favre really likes to lead the team himself and hopefully Moss will help him do just that. The Vikings go up north to battle the Jets where Moss will return to Revis Island for round 2 this year (not the matchup you want to make your return to, the receiver that beat you on a play that took you out in the first place). Under all of this Moss-Vikings news lays a football game where the Jets come in with one of the best defenses in the league and a rejuvenated LaDainian Tomlinson, who has been running like he's 25 all over again. Minnesota hasn't really been playing great defense so far so this will be a real test for them so shake the young Mark Sanchez into making some mistakes (which may be hard to do since he's been playing great football lately). The Vikings in the past, though, have proven they can handle anyone on any given day, and having a week off should have really helped them get healthy and ready since they've had 2 weeks to prepare (though Dallas had 2 weeks to prepare for Tennessee and look how that turned out). Favre hasn't played the Jets since leaving the team 2 seasons ago and is now facing an investigation surrounding that team (but that's another blog post). Favre will want to play hard to show he didn't return for nothing and Moss will want to prove that being traded was a good thing for him, and I think it pays off.

WINNER: MINNESOTA
